At the forefront of these efforts is Gurjinder Singh Gavy, a respected youth leader, social activist, and diaspora representative. He currently serves as the Chairman of the NRI & Overseas Congress Cell, Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee (RPCC), where he works to strengthen the relationship between Rajasthan and its global diaspora by promoting engagement with Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), overseas students, and the global Rajasthani community.

In addition to this responsibility, Gurjinder Singh Gavy is the National President of the Indian Overseas Youth Congress Australia (IOYCA), where he leads youth-focused initiatives that encourage leadership, democratic participation, and stronger community engagement among overseas Indians. He also serves as the President of Student Union India–Australia, an organization dedicated to supporting international students through guidance, mentorship, accommodation assistance, employment support, and welfare programs.

Over the years, his leadership has extended beyond organizational roles to active community service, social welfare, and humanitarian initiatives. Through student support programs, community outreach, and engagement with public representatives in both India and Australia, he has consistently worked to build bridges between communities while encouraging youth to contribute positively to society.
